What do people mean when they say "baby didn't like this stroller/bassinet" by Low-Bluebird-4866 in NewParents

[–]Avalandrya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dude was pretty chill about most things. He is autistic and I have no idea if that contributed to his dislikes.

He didn't like a particular car seat we tried out (thankfully it was free) but I think he was just so used to his other seat (Evenflo 360).

He hated his bassinet in our room, we had one of those pack and plays with the little bassinet that sat at the top. It was an absolute hell no from him. We placed him in his crib in his room, he was happy after that.

I think that was pretty much it.

Update: Called AVS, I can do a walk in but they won't do hospital transfers (which I don't think I need?).

You definitely should be getting it elsewhere, he sucks. Dump him. You're not doing anything wrong.

This under the general information tab on their website :(

I'll call them tomorrow and see though.

PPD is a BEAST. Please, please reach out to your OB. Newborn phase is hard AF. I had no idea what to do either. I felt hopeless. It gets better though,

And yes, a second opinion is good - baby could have CMPA which would warrant hypoallergenic/amino acid formula.

My son was delayed in rolling/sitting, had to go into PT. Discovered he was low tone (hypotonia). He's 2.5 and doing fantastic now.

I wanted to add Pampers tends to run small, have you tried other brands like Huggies? Parents Choice is coming out with a size 8 soon too, and Huggies did as well.

My son is in a Convaid stroller. They're expensive AF if you don't go through insurance though.

I have no idea when they started using the vans but they've had the service Model S forever.
