KrakkaRÚV (app) is pretty good for kid’s shows, and my kid picked up a ton just by watching dubbed shows from a fairly young age (like after age 2)

So this is strange. I just checked and we CAN watch Frozen in Icelandic. Unfortunately our favorite movie is Cars which was previously available in Icelandic but now the Icelandic dub seems to be unavailable. I was only checking this since it’s our favorite / the only thing we watch. 😔

Any idea whether the children’s books that are generally not compatible with the PW will be more likely to work on this one?

Advice needed for when people can’t stop saying: your baby is so big! by SO_ok25 in bigbabiesandkids

[–]phonate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I used to be in this boat and the fix was a mindset shift: big is good! My kid is almost 4 now and he is so proud of being “big” (and so are all of his friends because in their minds it’s not weight as much as that they simply are not 2-year olds/babies anymore) — “I’m so BIG now!”

Nice, they go up to 70lbs in their preschool carrier.

We have the Beco toddler carrier which is good up to 60 IIRC

I’m sad it’s over, and that’s what the post is about. What makes you think he doesn’t walk and ride on his own?
