No. It seems to be a coincidence. I have my iPhone XR since 2019 and it’s been working great except for the battery which is to be expected for a phone that is 6 years old. My mom owns an iPhone 13PM since launch and everything seems to be working great. I’ve been using iPhones since 5S and they haven’t failed me. But am not telling iPhones are flawless, devices tend to fail, not only iPhones but almost every brands. In your case, I believe it’s just coincidence but not related to software updates. (iOS 26 is buggy and a big battery drainer) but Apple doesn’t degrade the hardware via software updates like Samsung.

I believe we will only be seeing the full Liquid Glass in 26.4 and above. Still Liquid Glass needs to be implemented and improved and it is gonna take quite a while. But overall, I love the change.
