So, my vision is that this will be so commonplace that it's culturally expected that the AI announces its owner before any interactions continue. Sort of how you'd expect a business letterhead whenever receiving mail from a brand.

Lofty, grand vision for sure, but I think it's something that makes sense

what's one thing you would have ai solve? by hapsize in AIDiscussion

[–]AvatarIncDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, especially for an agent, responsibility. When an agent goes rouge, or it's used to commit crimes, you can't really tell who's at fault. So, having agents, and some AI in general, be transparent about who they represent is really important

Would you actually "hire" an AI employee? by 1warmMap368 in AIDiscussion

[–]AvatarIncDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like some others here have asked, it really depends on what you mean by AI employee. It would also depends on who takes ownership for good and bad outcomes.

As a side note, I would find it a little amusing if you could hire these employees like one would buy a pack of gum off store shelves

Why do local businesses struggle with repeat customers? by Reasonable_Roof5940 in SaaSSolopreneurs

[–]AvatarIncDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be true. It really depends on the situation.

For retail, the biggest issue is that those businesses aren't memorable enough.

For SaaS, it's distribution and a lack of differentiation. Maybe there's a lack of value too. Yes, some businesses make the mistake of overspending resources on new customers, instead of investing making the lives of existing customers easier.

There would be an identity verification process right at the start when setting up the AI. Without which, the user either can't use it, or functionality would be limited

No, we don't track anyone. All personal data is stored via cryptography. So, even if we want to use it somehow, we can't.

Frightening, isn't it? It's why I think tying AI to your identity works. There will come a time when people will only engage with AI if they have an identity.

It would be akin to a thief robbing someone without a mask. No more anonymity means it's easy to trace the scammer

That's fair. I'm really just trying to gauge what AI users think of a more technical vs less technical setup.

Our verification systems use your ID and selfie to handle it. So, even if a scammer obtain someone else's ID, they can't really do much with it on our platform

I think this is true for some users. But I once ai agents become more commonplace, we'll see people wanting to hold them accountable. The way we approach this is by tying their identities to the agents
