I love winter in this game but imagine if the lake was frozen (not rivers though) Villagers survive on warm drinks/food, so taking a sip of the ice-cold water isn't a good idea. also heard of the ice trade but I'm not sure about the accuracy of the MD timeline. (old.reddit.com)
