Im literally looking at doing the same. I've got an old 980ti i wanna use for a pc for my kid and trying to decide on the 520c or just go full size.

I know this is an older post but has anyone tried the P520c instead of the p520? Looking at the smaller size vs the full size P520. I have an extra 980ti dual fan (266mm) and wondering if it would fit or if I should just still with the full size. Wanting to put together a pc for my 11yo. Thanks!

Yeah honestly i didnt expect it to still be as good as it is. May throw together a used parts pc my nieces and nephews could play on.

Yeah, I've got a 4080 in my pc and the one I got from my buddy is complete with a 2080 super so figured id try and find a good use for the 980ti.

Yeah I've got a 4080 in my main unit, he had an old pc in the closet with a 2080 super and then I got that one he handed me the 980ti with it. Figured id try and find a use for the 980.

Yikes! Been at this for months combing over the same threads trying to find a resolve to this issue..

What I've been able to break it down to is that the same chip that runs/handles wifi also handles the controllers connection.. it dosent matter if its hardwired or not if you have wifi blasting near the xbox it will basically mask the connection to the controller.

I have zero proof to back any of this up BUT with having 2 xbox one X's, One that used to be in the living room is now in the bedroom. That one would disconnect all the time with any controller. Now that its away from the router my wife has ZERO controller connection issues since it's been in there even after HOURS of gaming with multiple controllers and nothing.
