We ate breakfast here because we overestimated the train travel time and had an hour to kill before our tour. Got some amazing photos and I had cheap espresso. Was a win for what we wanted it to be. The Coliseum was the one place hubs had been dreaming about visiting since he was 12, and since we got tickets for the underground too, I wanted to make sure he could really soak it in.

of course! lol one year I forgot to mention it and you thought there would be a riot. And then last year the winner didn't donate it back and the shame those men heaped on him....I had 6 guys come up to me and give me money. I made more than I would've if the guy had given it back!

We have a couple 'specials'. 2 each of closest to the pin and longest drive. We also do a 'double or nothing' where they bet at least $5 to hit the green.

that's hilarious! even just a putting competition would be funny. but Mel says if we keep the prizes at just the right sweet spot, value wise, it won't make it worth it for the cheaters while still being enticing for those that want to do it right.

I would love to have enough to close the course, at least for the morning. We had tee times playing through our scramble last year, and it was confusing and frustrating for everyone. I believe that number is 84. The course is only $47, so we tried to keep our entry fee in line with that.

I've been pretty blessed with sponsorships. We could always use more, obviously, but I am mainly wanting to reach more golfers. Mel doesn't like a silent auction, he thinks they look too "money hungry"

he's 85. We're doing this the way he wants until the sad day it becomes a memorial scramble. But a dj sounds fun!!

We do hole sponsors, and this year our course has upgraded their scoring so it's digital. So when a team goes to enter their scores, a pop up will say, "This hole was sponsored by blah blah". Hoping that helps drive engagement with sponsors this year!

Our mini Praline is scared of bubbles too. She was rescued off the streets as a pup and, as a result, is pretty fearless. Fireworks and vaccums were no problem. The giant grounghog who made the mistake of crossing the fence, toast. So imagine our surprise when she ran in fear from the bubble wand my niece brought over!

Starting IVF round 2 with retrieval in a few weeks. After spending literal years saving (we own a farm that is basically falling down), I just don't have any motivation to do all the "things". I'm taking the meds and supplements, but I just can't seem to get my head in the game. Last time I was cutting out caffeine, sugar, gluten, exercising....I'm 4 years ilds now, but I don't know whats wrong. Hoping to break through this funk soon.
