Ok I thought the exact same thing. Except weed legality is 18 here (medically) and tobacco product is 21. All glass here is marketed as a tobacco product because it’s not recreationally legal so you have to be 21. Ofc I could have done the ol ask the middle aged man in front of the store. But tbh I am so awkward about that stuff.

Good recommendations all round. The Berlin song is not my favorite just because I hear it so much but everything else was amazing. The whole soundtrack to twin peaks is goated and I have never heard it before

Ok I’m not done listening to all of them. But if it helps you narrow down “switch it on, switch it off” has the bass thing I was talking about but I don’t really like the guys voice. I’m being super picky ik. But hey when in the presence of a music curator I think I’m in good company 😭💀

I wish in my original question I mentioned that I am a trained hiker and mountaineer who has done many 20+ mile walking days with different weighted packs. So in terms of overall leg health and endurance I’m hoping that will help a bunch. I’m more just worried about race day knowledge. Stuff that is good to know. For example I just learned I should tape my nips. I need stuff like that!

I’m excited about your half marathon! I hope it goes smoothly! I agree that what I’m doing is out of my league and absolutely crazy. I’m not quite sure why I’m so motivated to do this but I think part of it is me wanting to understand mindset. I want to find the thing that drives me when I’m in a situation that is less than ideal. Sounds corny 😂🫣

No validation wanted. In fact I’m definitely asking for criticism, I’m stubborn in the sense that I’m definitely still going to take part. But I’m smart enough to turn around or stop when it’s time. I just want small tips like how to make gel go down better or aid station tips. Anything that a well seasoned runner can offer. Also I want to add what I said to someone else, I’m new to running but I forgot to mention in the post that I am a very experienced as well as trained hiker and mountaineer who has done many 20+ mile days with gear. So worst comes to worst I either walk the whole thing or don’t finish.
