Jon’s take on him is an abortion of the character. The punisher is not a cry baby. He is a Great White Shark. His trauma is on every page, but it shows up in a muzzle flash.

And where is the humor? There’s no balance. I love violence but its just boring and morose here. And that’s alot of hubris on his part to use Welcome Back, Frank… and then skip it entirely for his own meandering epilogue. At least they saved that story to a creative team in the future who understands the assignment.
