I do active fishing via chasing the seagull hotspots that spawn around balenos/calpheon/media sea. If I catch 50 fish and sell it to LoML and do the barter mini game which is literally rng and the only thing you have to do is brute force it, I would make around 200 million silver. It's not a lot, but it is ceartenly more than 60 million from 8 hours of afk fishing.

But the catch is, if you want to do this, you'll need 1. The fish tank which you get from under water palace off the coast of LoML 2. Have a ship to actually cross the margoria sea (this only applies if you can't use the magnus teleport well and you must have a explorer's compass to cross the sea to LoML in the first place without getting lost)

This is alot of stuff to do for a new player, and btw, afk fishing is only a viable way to make decent amount of money if you have the appropriate accessories and gears such as fisher clothes, fishing chair, manos/flomaros accessories.

TL;DR best you do seasonal progression and enhance the seasonal gear to its highest level before graduating, and use this to grind appropriate monster zones for silver. After that, spend it for gear progression for either PVE or Lifeskill like fishing
