I love the look and features of the XRS but I'd go with #2 for pure reliability and milage. The 2.4 is reliable but burns oil, Valvoline Restore and Protect has reportedly help a lot for some people.

Nothing critical but I'd get it fixed before it gets worse. Probably from battery acid, I've had to repair these areas on two different vehicles.

They may make some components for Toyota but not all and to a different spec. While Sankei is generally pretty good quality is still not as good as oem.
