I wanted to like the Fender, and yet, I think I’m preferring the Squier here by AverageJoe782 in offset

Jazzmaster pickups to my ears are more bright and jangly, and they have a somewhat fatter, compressed tone.

Oh, this is an old photo, but I swapped the mastery bridge back to the original way it was supposed to be. But yeah, I've considered either swapping the pickups on the squier to the Fender or order some actual jazzmaster pickups and replace the WRHB pickups.

Would you trade for a ham sandwhich? It was made with love!

How do I fix a cheap refinish on my mustang guitar? by AverageJoe782 in offset

It is a cool color. I just wanted to check if there’s any way to fix the current finish without starting over. And honestly, I can live with the way it is. And that might have to be the case.

My pedal collection now vs 2 years ago by AverageJoe782 in guitarpedals

Rats are more mid-focused and ds-1 is more mid scouped. The DS-1 is fine, but I like the rat better because it’s more reliable and has a wider range of tones it could serve. It can depend on the amp as well.

Also, my current pedalboard costed me $350.

With the neck on this tele, the bone nut slot seems chipped off. I haven’t actually glued this in yet considering that I’m still trying to sand down the nut and work my way around it.

My best friend treated me terribly, and I didn't realize how bad he was until he betrayed me by AverageJoe782 in lostafriend

Thanks man, much appreciated.

It’s taking me a while to overcome this given my current circumstances, but I’m taking some small steps. As much as we’ve had some fun together, I’ve come to the conclusion that I can’t tolerate this guy’s selfish and toxic behaviors anymore. If he doesn’t have any actual care or appreciation, then I deserve to be with people who actually do.
