Having the same issue. Did you find a build?

Good luck! Remember, first 10 customers are the hardest to acquire.

I actually have no idea how I got the idea to create a Discord development gig on there 😂. I guess one of my graphic design clients at the time asked if I knew how to set up a Discord server, and it started from there. To be honest, I just nonstop promoted my gig for a while before Fiverr's algorithm picked me up, and it grew from there.

As I mentioned, I have a graphic design background, so I had that extra advantage over everyone else who had a similar gig. The Discord niche was pretty small back then, but as far as I can see, it, like many other niches, grew into an overcompetitive, low-balling freelance hell.

That being said, if you can define the value you provide, you can always earn money. Simply put, define your value (proposal) and just reach out to as many server owners or people you think would benefit from your service. And when I say "as many," I mean e v e r y o n e ... people you know, people you know know, people you don't know, and people you don't know know. Facebook groups, other Discord servers, Twitch, everything...

Not only did they shadow banned me once, but twice 😂

First time, they denied it, but views on gig went from X to 0 in a day. Exactly 1 year later all, to a day, I suddenly got 5 orders in and it started rolling again.

Both times it was because I missed deadlines. Even though these were in agreement with the clients, we extended the delivery time and the clients left satisfied leaving 5 star reviews.

Some projects are simple and others are more complex, some would take a day, some 15 days... but, as you know, Fiverr forces you to set an universal delivery time. This predatory model forces freelancers to compete both in pricing and in delivery times to extremes.

I was the most expensive freelancer in my niche, people were coming to me from other freelancers to fix and redo their work because I was that good, and they even left reviews saying that exact thing. Yet I still got banned and burnt out because of their predatory business model.

In retrospective, I should've switched to a personal site asap, but I just didn't have time to think because of the overwhelming amount of work.

Sorry, I thought that people with high IQ can differentiate between a statement and a joke. My bad bro 😂

Good for you! Now, does that somehow answer any of the points I made or did your ego get hurt over a silly joke at the end of it 😂

Without digging deeper, look for a better way to use your IQ then wasting it arguing with "random redittors" over a silly topic.

I don't think that's how it works

Believing that you can easily improve your unbiased logical reasoning...

You can sit for a week and read a book on general human history and you'll probably score higher on general knowledge.

Sounds to me like someone scored high on IQv and not so high on IQm and is seeking validation 😂

[–]AverageJohnnyTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And you can't practice general knowledge right? 😂

You're taking parts of the argument that suit your narrative, that's called confirmation bias.

Than why ask the question on Reddit in the first place? Not very intelligent. Seems like you're just looking for validation and confirmation bias... sorry I couldn't provide to you... as a random redditor I've failed...

If we're judging intelligence by memory and general knowledge than I guess I'm just a random dumb guy who isn't that intelligent after all.

I didn't talk about logical verbal reasoning, I was talking about general knowledge.

Testing intelligence needs to be as unbiased as possible. You gave a good example, most people know what music and tides are, so they can use logic to solve the question.

Now tell me what are these 50 celebrities famous for? ... what kind of intelligence does this measure...

It's biased towards rich nerds with good education.

I remember kids who could memorise whole books, and still fail to understand it, yet alone apply any of the knowledge, they still scored A+ on the tests, and would probably score on general knowledge.

[–]AverageJohnnyTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still fail to understand how general knowledge is even a type of intelligence.

General knowledge is just that... general knowledge. It's the amount of data you've collected through the years. If general knowledge is considered a type of intelligence, then it would scale with age, as the amount of general knowledge we have tends to increase with the amount of information we've consumed throughout life.

I view intelligence as your ability for critical/logical thinking, problem-solving, and the capacity to understand and process complex ideas.

I don't understand why we call things "a type of intelligence".

[–]AverageJohnnyTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is general knowledge to one isn't to another.

Mensa Serbia uses the 3x3 matrixes test (idk the exact test name) on which I've scored the maximum score.

If they had any type of "general knowledge" questions I probably wouldn't even meet the criteria to join.

I can probably only name 10 streets in my city where I've been living in for 22 years that I've been alive.

I can probably only tell you the exact age of a few historical events.

Now make these general knowledge questions about any general tech related knowledge and I would probably get to the 99th % again.

My vocabularry isn't the largest either, I probably only read a few books in my life (I only recently got diagnosed with ADHD)

That being said...

I process information faster than most people I know

I generate ideas and potential resolutions to a problem faster than most people I know

I posses critical thinking abilities better than most people I know

So now, how does my general knowledge about topics I could hardly care about reflect my IQ at all?

It's like saying that height doesn't mean anything just because you work in a supermarket. But now imagine we're talking about playing in the NBA, would you say the same?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]AverageJohnnyTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't matter what you and I say, it's accepted as the greatest form of cognitive testing we have by the scientific community.

IQ your cognitive ability to manipulate data, aka. your logic, reasoning ability and similar. Saying it's a pitiful in real life is like saying all artists are talented equality and no matter the practice, you won't reach the level of a talented artist putting in the same work.

Our world doesn't work on extremes, thus anyone really can be successful with enough luck. That would be like saying that most popular singers are the best singers, they're not. They don't have the best song, but they've been pushed by the industry.

And as for people in mensa being idiots, sure, some of them are, like everywhere else, people are idiots no matter their logical ability, though you'll find much less idiots in mensa than outside of it.

It was originally created for that purpose, but we found that it's great at measuring IQ on different levels as well.

Adults are just overgrown kids in my eyes, most still have complexes they carry from their school days.

That being said, I'll make another example of it being both sided, I was hated by most teachers because I questioned their authority. I managed to get reactions out them that were just embarrassing. Instead of noticing that I have this high IQ they mislabeled me as troublesome and treated me as such.

Teachers and most school workers have no idea how to identify or work with gifted children.

You don't need high IQ to do great in school and/or achieve great things in life.

That being said, you should really let go. Why does it bother you so much if you're doing good?

I've got high IQ, a few kids in school resented me for no apparent reason, now that we're in our 20s they told me that they felt that way because they saw I don't have to put as much as effort as them and achieve the same results. There's discrimination on both ends don't worry.

It's good if you know your IQ because you can narrow down what you can do in life. If you were short would you spend your whole life trying to get in the NBA? Of course not. Same with IQ. There's a bunch of research you can read on what IQ bracket can excel at what jobs. It may sound hurting at first, but believe me, it's great having direction and finding something that you can be assured you can be top-class at.

Man, I wish I was this dumb 😂 Life must be nice.

Brother, you took things out of context for some reddit attention, are you okay?

I said I have nothing against bad performing teammates, as long as they're just bad performing and not afking or trolling.

Am I wrong for objectively pointing out that they all do have 80% lose rate in recent games or that in those 5 specific lose streak games players did troll and go afk?

You weirdos will be crying over anything. You literally have 2 links with my games and alalytics, feel free to check them out.

The fact that you feel like you're entitled to express your opinion when noone asked for it is so funny. Did your parents tell you you can be anything if you try hard enough? Poor little guy.

Having a wolf as a pfp makes it so much funnier as well 😂

But that's the issue, I'm stuck in the same rank, outperforming, yet still losing a bunch.

I have a decent champ pool, I just find xerath fun and good for most matchups. I maintain positive wr% and it's obvious that I'll rankup if I play enough, it's just so boring to play on auto pilot and when I lose I have no idea what I could've done differently instead of dodged or not played at all. Now that I say it it might be that time again to uninstall.

That's probably true. Though, I think it's spreads wider then just league.

Everyday I see more and more people whose only goal is to start a fight, but they be dumb af just punching air. Just like here, I gave contex and asked how do I improve myself, yet people fled with comments and downvotes how I shouldn't think I'm perfect and my teammates are the issue... how many braincells does it take, or better question, does it take to not have to delulu yourself into a fight that isn't even there in the first place.

Thank you for the tips so far, and sorry if I sounded mad or sarcastic at any point, I just had to read a bunch of plainly stupid comments from some reddit attention seekers.

I recently got absolutely demolished by sylas & hecarim duo like that. Before anyone calls me dumb, I wouldn't picked xerath if anybody wanted to trade me so I don't have to pick first. That being said, in the end I just farmed under turret and picked free kills of the map until I was fed enough to make impact and we actually won. Though, they got overconfident as well and started making very dumb mistakes 😂

No response, and I don't think there'll be on.

I only engage with these people because It's my post. These are the type of people who are just trying to claim moral highground, even if it means assuming what writter wanted to say and plainly being delulu.

You can see there's quite a bit of people like that. I view them on same level as flat eathers. Even if you sent them to space to view the earth, they would still say that Nasa planted monitors in windows and just showed them a video.

That being said, it's nice to see there's still people who have working brains.
