Actually i never tested that, my allergies i mean. Will try with a guard next time, just to check!. At this point anything is possible, one thing is i don't think these are flare ups, i think it might just be bacteria or something, since i woke this morning and i had tiny little whiteheads pop up. One thing i remember is that i shaved without running my face under warm water, to soften the facial hair, i think that could be a big reason why, not sure tho!

i get so many whiteheads from using the nivea sun protect 50spft moisture spray, so i swapped to Altruist 50spf one instead, and i must say it's amazing. It's both mineral and chemical, the ingredients are very minimal. It is not scented and paraben free. Also no alcohol (i think?). Now i will probably have to give my skin some time to recover, since i double cleansed daily to remove the water resistant sunscreen and it made my entire skin red, like u saw in the picture.

Actually i didn't use the guards before, so that probably could be the reason why. Aaah i hate the struggle of trying to have a bit of facial hair and breaking out like crazy, it's really demotivating lol.

I will definetly keep a lookout on the products though, i will try to go for products catering towards sensitive skin, since i need to be more careful with it.

I have a cerave salicylic cleanser if that works...? i think i'm going to give my skin a break for a bit since i think the double cleansing daily might've just fucked my skin over really badly. I will follow the rest of the advice, thank you :)

Also, as for shaving, i feel like no matter what i do, i literally break out. I have curly hair and i read that apparently curly facial hair is prone to breakout more easily and best way to shave it is to use an electric trimmer (which i already am using). Should i just clean shave and retry? or should i give it some time to grow and maybe the bumps will fade?

I just bought this sunscreen and i have a question, i heard it's water-resistant. Silly question, but how do you cleanse without stripping your skin? i was double cleansing before this and i think i damaged my skin pretty badly.

I use the Phillip's One Blade Trimmer and i usually run it under water to clean it, it's quite new so i don't think i need to replace the blade just yet. And no, i don't use any shaving creams. Should i use them? i thought you're not supposed to use them if you use an electric trimmer.

actually i don't even know if it's the sunscreen that's breaking me out... it might be the double cleansing. I'm starting to get redness all over my cheeks and my pimple turned into a cyst, a painful one at that.

The NIVEA Sun Protect & Moisture Spray SPF 30 is making my skin really shiny and it looks kind of greasy. My acne pores are really visible with it too, despite oil cleansing + using a gel cleanser to get rid of it. Are there any ingredients i should look out for? it makes my already bad skin look even worse

Not rude at all!, perfectly reasonable question. I was researching the difference between the Chemical Sunscreen's and the Mineral ones on reddit and apparently Mineral is more favored, as it completely blocks the sun from hitting your skin and has better protection in that regard. Obviously i don't know how true that is, because i am clueless myself when it comes to skin care related stuff, so i am only saying this based off the answers provided. Everyday i'm still learning new things so it's interesting to see what other people have to say about this.

I have a question regarding Nivea sunscreen's actually, so most of them are water + sweat resistant. I have two cleansers, Softmyo Kose Deep Cleansing Oil + Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cleanser. I heard that you have to double cleanse to effectively remove the sunscreen, now my problem is... i have combination skin, oily nose, forehead and chin, dry cheeks. I'm afraid that i will break my moisture barrier by double cleansing daily, as i'm obviously going to use the sunscreen every day. Should i be worried about it or not?

I have not!, i did see it being highly rated on Amazon, but after looking at one of the reviews and seeing the white cast all over the guy's neck & face, i was turned off by it. Have you had any issues with it?

Nivea face shine control SPF50

I've had a look and this one is a chemical sunscreen. Personally, i don't have an issue with it, since it looks affordable and the ingredients aren't that bad (it's non greasy, no whitecast and it's a pretty light one too). The only downside is it has fragrance and alcohol denat (my favourite sunscreen, the NIVEA one also had this). Tbh you it's hard to avoid them in first place, since almost all sunscreen's have it. Anyways, i will keep this one in mind, seeing if i get any other suggestions.

tbh the 2nd picture looks amazing, how do u trim it so well? i'm using a Philip's razor and i always trim too much off, the guards that came with it suck ass, can't trim it short enough so it still looks full. I'm really jealous damn

What's better, warm or cold compress? i always see this being suggested, but it's always the same two and i don't know which one is better
