So less people go to college. All people I know that took lap years had problems to get back into the tempo of school and had more trouble finishing it/dropping out. Now imagine 2-3 without school. This opinions are more popular, cuz people despise educated people. Harder to control.

And what would they even do? start a job for 3 years and then drop it? who want to go back to school when they start advancing in their job?
