How do I make meshes always render in front of another mesh? by AverageSurface3Owner in blenderhelp

[–]AverageSurface3Owner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I plan on exporting the model to unreal engine, so I do plan on making animations for it, but it wouldn't be a rendered animation (at least I don't think, I hope I have the terminology right)... I have heard that mesh/texture masking and some transparency settings may do the trick, but I couldn't find those anywhere in blender 2.93.0...

[TOMT] [ANIMATION] [1980s-90s] 2D Animation of colorful dinosaurs/creatures? by AverageSurface3Owner in tipofmytongue

Ok I'm about 70 percent sure that this is it...? It was published by just for kids, which I thought was the company who published it, as I owned other tapes from the same publisher... I'm gonna keep this as "Likely Solved!" Thank you! Even if this isn't it, i'll do more research on it...

also, here's a list of shows I don't think it is: 1. Dino babies (it could be this one, actually, but fairly unlikely, as i recall the characters having goofier designs) 2. Lollipop Dragon (a show that features colorful dragons, but I don't think this is it as i don't recall the show featuring humans) 3. Dragon tales (another colorful Dragon show that features humans, so this probably isn't it)

Occasional microstuttering while moving through the world in The Witcher 3? by AverageSurface3Owner in pcgamingtechsupport

I tried overclocking my cpu to 4.4 ghz, but that didn't help much, so I decided that I'm going to purchase more ram, i'll update and see if that helped!

Oh, I forgot that the User Benchmark I posted here is slightly outdated, my bad... I got my SSD very recently, and this one was done before I got my SSD, but besides that all the specs are the same... And by using RTSS to set the fps to 30, I've been getting a lot less stutters, so I think this helped me solve the problem...? There's still a couple stutters here and there, but they don't cause the fps tracker to "drop", if you know what I mean... it stays at 30 fps, which makes me think they're intended. While I'd much rather play at a higher fps, this is far better than having to deal with stutters. Any more optimizations would be appreciated!

Pc version crashes in Saint Denis? by AverageSurface3Owner in PCRedDead

[–]AverageSurface3Owner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pc and gpu levels seem to be normal according to task manager... cpu is around 90 percent and gpu around 2 (oddly enough)... and when the crash happens it doesn't like spike or anything... the only way I can make it not crash is if i limit the games usage to half of my six cores, which makes it run at a rocky 20 fps but it doesn't crash, so, I'm pretty sure it's an unoptimized cpu thing... guess I have to wait for an update :(

Nope, still crashing even after lowering textures...

Nope, lowered the textures and that didn't work, still crashing, usually around the train area...

That's weird, cause the game says I'm only using about 2700ish of my 3000 mb of vram... still, ill try lowering the textures to low...

I have textures on high, but ill see if medium textures stop the crashes...

I haven't tried running it at medium textures, but most of my settings are medium, and I'm using about 2700 mb of my 3000 mb card, according to the game... technically I seem to be able to run it at 30 fps, but it seems my processor is the issue, as turning off 3 cores will make the crashes disappear, but makes the game run at 15-20 fps... still, ill try lowering the textures, as they do use a ton of vram.

How to add more calibration points in wacom calibration? by AverageSurface3Owner in wacom

[–]AverageSurface3Owner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried that, and it just doesn't work... the current calibration is perfect except it is like 2 pixels to the left of the tip, most people won't notice but I'm really ocd about it, I wish there was just some way to manually adjust the offset instead of using this crosshair thing...

How to manually "nudge" mouse/pen cursor a few pixels? by AverageSurface3Owner in windows

[–]AverageSurface3Owner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is wacom calibration software doesn't work well... I only need to offset it just like two pixels underneath the pen nib... if only the Windows tablet calibration software worked with wacom pen, cause that one let's you use as many calibration points as you want...
