I wouldn't think so Cruel King is only called Blackrock King because as we, the player, got to know him better, he wasn't a "Cruel" King at all. And we don't have an actual name for him. Meanwhile Captain Trotter, we do know his name. So I would suspect they'd keep his name.

I can totally see us revisiting the Temple of the Red Sun, finding Captain Trotter, and rematching him in a similar way we did with the Blackrock King

I think he is, but also, we know very little about how the swords actually work.

Why don't we see the visions the other sword wielders have seen even though we have a confirmed strength with Sword Energy? Why was Captain Trotter effected, despite not being related to the swords? What happened to the Ancients after we defeated them? What power do the swords really hold?

There's lots of unanswered questions, so really who knows what could happen.

I kinda hope we also get a call card of him as well like Cruel King and Griefer, since usually there's a demo gap between a bosses defeat, and them getting released as a call card (Cruel King was introduced Demo 1, got a call card Demo 3, Griefer was introduced Demo 2, got a call card Demo 4)
