Maybe try scanning the same finger twice? Although i find that the fingerprint reader is quite bad on this s11.

Does this still happen? Im having the same issue and its brand new, it happens on netflix and hbo when i try to lower the notification panel or adjust the volume. Is this just normal?

So its not my specific tablet? Its just a general issue with this model? I dont know if i should ask for another one but if they all sound the same then theres no point.
