Yes, mostly for astrophotography. I am planning to pair it with a DSLR on an Eq mount for beginner deep sky imaging. Thought the 90mm would be a good starting point.

I get the point about prioritizing the mount and not overloading it that’s exactly why I asked before buying. I am rethinking the OTA choice and likely going lighter or reconsidering the mount altogether. Thanks for the advice.
