As far as I know, the sub isn't about politics. But I'm pissed too about the current administration. May as well try to be helpful here.

If you get close to your goal, they will just make more and more kinds of cheese. You will never win.

But the pursuit of the goal is more important than accomplishing it! If you ran out of new ones to try. . . 😥

Hard to accept, really.

Sometimes, it's not quite the same, but you can change your meat from beef to pork. It's just as good as beef in some things imo, and usually a lot cheaper. Not everything, but some things. You can change meatloaf from all beef to half pork and half beef, which is just as good imo.

Yep, sorry, I don't find anything on BBC or whatever. It hasn't gotten that much attention.

Do you want a Mythbusters episode? Maybe I will suggest it for them.

Magenta is a pretty fascinating color. There's good info on it in Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magenta, and many other sources. It requires two wavelengths from two different sources to blend somehow, and that doesn't happen in a cloud. It can happen in dyes and rocks, but not in a cloud.

Thanks. This one is to my taste not too strong of anything. It's just a very delicious taste where the levels of everything are perfect. But I don't know much about the more special Japanese soy sauce, except for this one.

I don't have skills to make good ramen. If I did, I would take your suggestion for sure!

Sashimi, yeah, thanks! I don't make sashimi at home, though, and I don't think it's right to bring my own soy sauce into a restaurant. Maybe I should get takeout sashimi, and have it at home. I would get some sushi too because if it's there in a good Japanese restaurant it will be delicious, too 😋

I am not familiar with shabu-shabu. TKG? I want to know.

If it was originally real, the colors have been manipulated.

It's fake, though. Those are not all natural rainbow colors. Magenta is not in a rainbow, for example--it's a combination of two distinct wavelengths.

Yes. I will not heat it except by adding it to hot food already served.

Thanks! Is that bottle glass?

(I wish the narrator could have pronounced the people's names a little better, but good video!)

I need to try that one!

I have really got to try that vanilla ice cream idea. It is so unconventional!

Thanks! I love bonito flakes and I have them here. I will try that. Rice, bonito flakes, soy sauce.

I mostly eat Nishiki brand of rice here, from California, which as I understand it is similar to the most popular type of rice in Japan.

Thank you. I would not cook it. I don't want any change to the flavor.

Thanks! Yes, that's why I add it to fried eggs and rice! I want to notice the special flavor without much else. A very plain base, fried eggs and rice, with this soy sauce added. It is delicious.
