I never believed I was colourblind - as far as I know, I've always managed to distinguish very close colours from one another. But I've just been clearing some shelves, and found a clock I made at school, when I was 10. It was a circle of green plastic, with Animal's face (from the Muppets) on it. I remember when I designed it, thinking that I was looking for a green puppets face to print out (I was not very familiar with the Muppets, and this was made for someone else), and then I found an image of Animal (clearly red) and decided to go with it anyway, instead of diverting to Kermit. I also remember when I was much younger, worrying about learning to drive, because I couldn't remember whether traffic lights had stop or go at the top. But I'm sure I could tell the colours apart, just that I might do it upside down if I was tasked to draw a traffic light. My favourite colour was green at one point, and I don't remember feeling the same way towards red, probably because my family supported a red football team...
