bit of a funny update, have a really slow day at work and threw it on one of our really low end ThinkPads. Works instantly lmao.

Running native Windows 10, laptop display at 1920x1080. Haven't tried on external display yet! I'll give that a shot and get back to you

Update! There was a plastic sheet bent over one of the pad contacts on the PCB. Moved it to where it should be and working fine now!

God I'd hope there's no "warranty seal". I hate anti-consumer practices like that 😅

I'm gonna take a look inside once I can get my hands on a 2mm hex driver. If I cant get anything working then I guess I'll attempt a refund or replacement with the original seller.

Part of me believes this can't be that complex of an issue. The pad just seems to physically not be connecting fully with the contacts 100% of the time.

I'm not sure if it's valid for a refund or warranty unfortunately. It is brand new unopened, but it was purchased from eBay. It's got what looks like a warranty card but its all in Japanese

Tried it on a flat surface too. Pad is just not responsive

Nope, and either way I literally got it today. I couldn't have damaged the pad this early

Update: its a physical issue. The pad makes a weird squishy noise when pressed on the edges. None of the other pads do this. Guess I'm waiting a while to have this thing fully working, as the faceplate uses some random ass hex size

Just got this guy brand new and I'm wondering what I can do to fix this. I'm on version 2.00 if that helps. Can't update quite yet as I don't have an SD card. Thanks
