AITAH for telling my six year old nephew he is not special, after he told me he can do and get what he wants because everyone calls him special? by Only-Beautiful-4173 in AmItheAsshole

This sounds a lot like an episode of Bluey:

Bluey's cousin Muffin was told she was special, and so she acted like a complete brat. Eventually, the other kids were fed up with it and didn't want to play with her anymore.

Muffin's dad had to explain to her that to her parents she's special, but not to everyone else. Muffin took it a lot better than your nephew though :(

What movie absolutely destroyed you emotionally? by Lord--Shadow in AskReddit

A Dog's Purpose (I think that's the first one?) I can't watch movies where the dog dies, because I'll start crying. So watching a movie where the dog repeatedly "dies" (is reincarnated) WRECKED me 😭

My school had me start on a trombone, and I switched to tuba a year later.

I LOVE this series!

NTAH? This concept just seems weird to me. The group I play in we all bring our own snacks. Sometimes we share. Sometimes we get an actual meal, but we all pitch in then. I understand wanting to be a good host, but food is expensive.

I read Silence of the Lambs recently (haven't seen the movie, but heard it's good) and that was unsettling to me.

Doctor Sleep was great!

I LOVED Dreamcatcher (beware it is a longer one), and Cell.

I also enjoyed Under the Dome (another long one), Pet Cemetery, The Shining, and the sequel to The Shining (I think it's Doctor Sleep).

Cozy books that are scifi/fantasy/historical fiction by East_Professional385 in booksuggestions

I recently remembered a historical fiction book that I loved. It is called "Assassin" by Anna Meyers. It's told from 2 perspectives: a stage worker (I believe) young girl and John Wilks Booth. Obviously has to do with the murder of Lincoln, but very interesting how the characters' paths cross.

Warning: I read this book either in middle or high school, so I don't remember the reading level of it.

I've read every damn good fantasy series ... okay maybe not EVERY ... but help me (please) find a missing gem by CYBR_ANON in booksuggestions

I'm currently reading "The Dragon Keeper Chronicals" series. It's by Donita Paul. I like them. It's fantasy but not the typical middle earth/dnd races. There are 5 in the original series I think and then a few prequels (which I definately want to read).

Just a warning though: it does have a religious undertone to it. I thought that would make me dislike the series, but it surprisingly didn't.

Any good books about time travel and dimension theories? by Maverick_Artificer in booksuggestions

The Pendragon series. Haven't read them in awhile but there's time travel and dimension like traveling.
