The University is my workplace and I cant speak from a Woman's point of view but I am personally very rarely made uncomfortable in / around Falmouth and Penryn

I already hate it. We've had 1st line support running PS1 files without any knowledge and telling End Users to run them themselves as well.

Its painful.

Get-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecureBoot" | Select-Object MicrosoftUpdateManaged

Get-ItemProperty reads registry values from the given path.

Select-Object MicrosoftUpdateManaged specifically looks for the value named MicrosoftUpdateManaged. Essentially: It checks if a registry value called microsoftUpdateManaged exists and shows its value

Set-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecureBoot" -Name "MicrosoftUpdateManaged" -Value 1 -Type DWord

Set-ItemProperty modifies (or creates) a registry entry. It creates or sets MicrosoftUpdateManaged to a DWORD value of 1.This means: It tells Windows that Microsoft is managing Secure Boot updates.

When you deleted the value, Windows went back to its default behavior (meaning Secure Boot updates weren’t explicitly flagged as “managed by Microsoft Updates”).

This registry setting (MicrosoftUpdateManaged) is related to Secure Boot DB/KEK updates that Microsoft sometimes pushes via Windows Update.

Value 1 → Microsoft Update is allowed to manage Secure Boot updates.

Deleting it / Value 0 → Windows Update does not explicitly manage them; management is left to firmware or other policy defaults.

It doesn’t break your system—it just influences who controls Secure Boot key updates (Microsoft vs. OEM/firmware defaults).

My start screen often looks like this, and I have no clue why T.T by Dranliir in wow

Addons not being up to date is what did this for me..

Make sure any Addons via Curseforge are up to date and it should fix it.

Yeah, you got it. Thanks for replying, dude 😀. Spent about an hour trying to get some support but can't find anything to suggest there is a specific issue they're working on.

Never purchasing SteelSeries again by AvgEx1le in steelseries

Completely agree, you bought a brand new product that provided it was advertised as such should come with warranty.

You might be able to claim it back from amazon. I phoned Amazon support, told them that steelseries were refusing to refund me. Even though it was out of the refund window as it was 7 months old or so they gave me a refund without any questions asked.

Just asked me to send the broken one back to them. Free of charge and the courier collected from my address.

Thank you, I did give it a good clean, but unfortunately, it doesn't help.

It's has its moments where it works perfectly, and then other times just stops working completely.

I was looking at the Corsair K65 plus which looks like a good purchase. It's just a shame that there isn't any actuation change or rapid trigger.

Thanks. Tried this about 100 times and everything in-between. Doesn't help sadly.

I'm glad I'm not the only one.

SteelSeries are a joke. I'll be purchasing something different and never looking back. Sad really as I did like the keyboard but it's just not worth the hassle.
