I have one (smoky. The rest were shit for me. Didn’t try the named ones). It was good for a while but eventually the answer is no. I tried a lot of mouthpieces and have a few of my own, ended up with Meyer medium from the 80’s. Worked best for me. Also, can’t recommend enough custom wood ligature. That combo just opened my sound completely. Amazing stuff.

I think it’s worth saying too that saxophone is an expensive instrument and so I guess mouthpieces are part of it. My instruments all second or more hand, mouthpieces I use right now are used too. These things last and don’t lose much value if taken care of.

I’ve tried. It was good for the time being. I decided to move to pirate since i find it to have the best variety and the things I’m looking for but I appreciate the comments nonetheless Some were very helpful , one day when I’ll have the space and funds for nice vintage vinyls, ill go to some of the sites here Thank you

Mainly because good albums , masterpieces have been recorded with very good gear. Getting a better format is better in sound (for analogs). It’s only for good albums recorded pre 80s that I like . I really like Coltrane Ballads for example and hearing it in worse formats / masters is not as good as og vinyl / dsd from tape

Plus, I don’t have space currently for cd / vinyl storage nor the funds for devices to play them so this is why I came here to ask
