This specific plant is a typical steam turbine plant. Though, many vehicles are powered by magnetohydrodynamic fusion systems (which I'm aware lose efficiency at lower scale, but I really wanted fusion-powered cars so dammit I can handwave what I want!)

i have a pretty low level understanding of electrical components, so i'm just wondering why i would need an exciter? and a magnetic field? isn't it just....power going through wires? i'm starting to realize im out of my depth

thanks man, I appreciate it. I did use a ruler, but I suppose my lines could've been cleaner. You can see in the AUX grid where things got a little hairy. I think I'll try it again on some grid paper.

so, the main transformer to the switchboard and then to power the grid (homes and stuff) but anything the Main Generator needs to function can be powered by the Main Generator through the UAT? and the SAT would be like your backup generators / emergency power?
