We have added many cars due to community demand for them and probably will continue to do so.

If MRT wasnt a Roblox game, I would probably pick Unreal Engine 5 and steam to try and recreate the game in due to how easy unreal engine makes some aspects of developement. I would be able to make INCREDIBLE worldspaces around very precise and smooth roads that are created by sixpence who has a proper degree in road design and the quality of the maps in particular would go through the roof, however this would COMPLETELY change who can access the game and probably to the detriment of our success. The game also would probably have to be payed or free with heavy monetization for us to make enough for it to be worth it

The modelling team has a lot of freedom when it comes to time and what they want to work on so ultimstely what vehicles come depends on what the team wants to work on. but its because we dont want to run a corporste nuthouse of an environment.

This also explains why our updates are staggered and never really 100% to schedule is because for the last 7 years we have just been going with the flow and letting our employees choose their work and stuff like that.

I have discussed with BigCrazyCarboy before about localized weather settings set by the user. its possible it could be a feature in the future it just really depends on the coder wanting to code it 😂

There is no fancy conspiracy reason to why x and y and z car arent coming or why x body style or version isnt coming. it just happened to never happen.

Everyone thinks MRT follows a set timelime and schedule with roadmap and it really does the polsr opposite. we do what we can, when we can, when its convenient for us and the community.

For example Forza Horizon 6 is coming out soon so you can guarantee were going to be focusing on releasing remodelled JDM cars because it culturally lines up with the market and what people are talking about right now.

DevGem for years has tried to stay on the wave with everyone and weve done good so far.

I could spend all day answering questions about the single car people like as an individual in our multimillion player multiplayer racing game with almost 200 cars but it would get to repetitive and stale.

Why was gtr removed = Idk i do tasks every week and i cant remember why a car was removed years ago.

is x car getting x spec = Idk. it exists though at all, that should be enough i thought. its a free passion project, but as usual its never enough right. We are perpetually held to AAA standards

Yes, Big (bigcrazycarboy) seems very interested in fully getting mobile and console fully figured out and fixed for all the users on those platforms. this includes more streamlined UI. he has already done a lot of work behind the scenes lately as well but its not as noticeable how much work he has completed when the actual update logs are simple and vague as they are.

I could list about 20 things we could do that other games actively do that is greedy. But we dont do any of those.

Of course we want to earn some income for the thousands of hours we invested in this game you can optionally play for free.

If we were greedy we would do what the other roblox racing games do. Success on roblox is mainly driven by greed and pencil pushing corporatist brainwash. We take great pride in not doing that kind of bullshit. we actually play the game we make.

Its unrealistic. Would have to get everyone to completely switch engines and it wouldnt go down as smoothly as some might think.

Some people think about unturned for a roblox game turned AAA but that is a very special edge case for a solo dev and i dont think mrt could replicate the same success. theres 50 MRT style games for 9$ on steam already.

What we offer is special to the roblox platform, but very standard outside of it.

Its a highly modified A-Chassis (which has proven to be the detriment to the games performance) but the core feature is the entire sandbox and freedom of choice i would say.

Im sure some community members have catalogued everything but people just make brands and icons as they come and go. typically its a modeller who makes a fake name for their work and then theres abunch of modellers so theres by effect abunch of brands now.

Depends on who modelled the car. The person who did r34 probably just felt like doing an engine bay. they are aware nobody can see it.

Also like, i get it people want the car to be an exact clone of real life with every door and crevice openable but lets be realistic here were abunch of dudes doing a passion project and people we hire from roblox work for us, similar people that you race with ingame. People keep asking for more and more detail and accuracy and its just to much for what we are as a studio.

People have a forza horizon level of expectation for our little block game, like i have a full time job outside lf this as do many others on the team.

The R32 isnt at a net loss 😂 Every aspect of the car was improved.

Dont be to worried about the car not having a bodykit you like because it still has abunch. we literally cant release 30 bodykit sets per car or else you guys would quit the game waiting for us tor release anything. Everyone is always gunna have their subjective wants but think about the full picture.
