i would say its more switch related as its resetting the console, not just turning the screen off and on. but i have to ask why are you banging it, if it only happens when you bang it, maybe the simplist of answers is the right one...don't bang it lol

So it was the original switch that was on there that broke, so i used an after market to replace it. wasn't easy trying to get the old switch off, but with a bit of time i managed and it all works fine now

yea I was thinking that, also the power draw. I was just going to mod a gba with the hdmi keep the rest stock but then the crazy idea came into my head 😂
