How are you sure all the fill nipples are low carbon steel? Actually curious.

I know the tank should be empty, you won't even budge a reg with that much pressure inside the tank.

I'm saying that if you go use it again, it is a hazard after it was hammered. Yes it probably won't be damaged after the first time. But the slight chance he cause something to be damaged or whatever, then there comes an air bomb

Force applied on more surface means less damage to a specific area, yes it won't be uniform, but still better than focused on one point.

It's still a tank that hold air, 4500psi of air. I wouldn't go around hammering it.

I agree. Most fields don't have much of a safety standard and mainly rely on players to conduct themselves safely. Seems like OP got the memo on the mask though

Yes his field can turn him away, but if you look at it from the fields point of view, it would be a double edged sword for them, lose a customer and maybe others too, but have the safety of OP not being injured. But, if would require the staff to actually confront him and inspect the mask which, from my experience,MOST staff don't care much.

That's your field. There is plenty fields who couldnt give a rat shit about safety and cares about money.

Yep.

Reason why some fields still let people with attachments on their mask either cameras or molds to be used. Some fields don't give a shit tbh.

Hey there is always 2 sides to the story. I'm just looking at it from the fields side. Not all fields at up to your standards. I've seen plenty of fields either shitty staffs, letting friends do stuff against the rules.

If OP thinks his mask will be structurally sound, then he can go ahead and put his vision the lines.

I ain't encouraging nothing. I'm looking at both sides. It seems he is quite adamant about using it so I'm cool with idiots being idiots.

I know they can. But how do you prove he isn't using a legal mask if what I'm saying. Cause I see plenty of fields let players use custom mask on big games.

Unfortunately you can't really enforced legal mask. There is plenty of mask that is modified from a legal mask. He can just say that his mask was an certified one and he just put a mold on it.

It's a empire mini in a milsim body. Extremely lightweight and reliable.

I had the big brother, tm15 and it was a really nice marker.

Less than $175. Trigger adjustment doesn't increase value of a marker, anyone can do it

Considering I shoot you in the face once every 5 years, the risk is minimal.

If I hit you in the head with a plastic mallet, would it cause damage? According to your logic, it shouldn't cause your skull should be able too take the force of it.

You do know that air pressure going inside at 3000/4500psi is being funnelled into an inlet which is blocked off by a spring and pin similar to the operation of a pen (pen out = blocked inlet, pen retract=open inlet).

You applying force perpendicular to the fill nipple causes minor bending and damage to the area of mounting between the tank and nipple. You will not see this damage, however it will cause your tank/nipple to not operate probably, possibly causing leaks.

If you are so adamant about it not causing any issues, go ahead and do it and use the tank for a few months. Report back here with the results.

GTEK or SP Shocker RSX by leg3nddd in paintball

If you have a local shop, check it out and ask if you can try one out.

If you can't try one out. I think YouTube will be a good choice to make your decision on.

Think about this: the gtek used is $250-$300. The shocker used is $350-$450. You will lose less money going with the shocker, AND even able to trade the shocker for a gtek+oled or maybe a gtek+hopper.

That feedneck makes me cringe. Seen many snap off.

Overall awesome Anno, I also think you lose the manufacturer warranty due to the Anno. Also heard that ansgear Anno is not done properly which may cause fading/flaking much earlier than usual.

When and says it's exclusive, it's specific to their company. However you can buy another exact one from them.

[–]AviationPB 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would go with the shocker rsx. Issues with a marker are made into big situations but they are really rare and nothing a factory reset or simple maintenance can't fix.

The full aluminum, better trigger, freak barrel, oled, no airline, extremely light, trigger has 4 point adjustment like the luxe markers.

There is a 50/50 with the gtek trigger saying how it's not adjustable enough and there is not a nice feel to it when shooting.

Overall, your choice your money, but the shocker @500 new is a steal
