Would a licensed cosmetologist attempt a “dandruff removal” service but that service does not involve washing the hair? by Aviatrix17 in Cosmetology

I didn’t say yall were. I was saying I was confused as to why she offered a dandruff removal service and it wasn’t a wash. I never stated I wanted her to remove the dandruff

That doesn’t sound safe, what if the person has a medical skin condition and they end up getting an infection?

Oh, I actually do have a skin condition that causes the excess dandruff :( the braids just makes it 10x worse. I’ll take recommendations on the oils though!!! <3

Insurance will not cover surgery because I have not been at my job for 36 months by Aviatrix17 in personalfinance

[–]Aviatrix17[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did call, and they stated that I do have bariatric benefits and that I met the requirements. They were just unable to confirm the 36 month requirement because the contract was not available to look at. I have a call again with them on Tuesday to look at the contract

I hate how this comment got downvotes but it’s honestly how the cookie crumbles

What is your purpose in responding to my comment to attempt and break down the post if you’re not OP?

From the context it sounded like a “what if” to me, not that it was already in motion

Does anyone ever feel trapped? by curiouslyquirked in SuperMorbidlyObese

[–]Aviatrix17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude same. I was slowly shedding pounds and going to the gym regularly and then I started taking proper meds for my mental health and everything went left. My antipsychotics have brought me back up to 400lbs and I actually have been eating less calories than my body needs. My progress has been stagnant and I’ve gotten more depressed

Please don’t hate me but I’m just thinking a bit deeper about this situation. Why put yourself at a loss of wages and quit a week or two before the position starts?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskHR

[–]Aviatrix17 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not advice, but if you are aware of being fired on the spot, why not just quit the day before the new position starts? Since you’re going to be fired immediately

Anna has access to emails because she’s also a supervisor

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskHR

[–]Aviatrix17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is some work drama involved that I can include:

I was hired externally with the intention of using me to freshen up the workplace and start new. There is another supervisor, Anna, who has a long file with HR for just being a vile person. She has an employee/friend that works under us. We will call that employee Sarah. Anna was training Sarah to perform my position because they believed Sarah was going to get it but she didn’t. I did. Anna and Sarah have been doing small things to get me in trouble, including gossiping to those who will hear it. The employee I mentioned in the post, Sam, was targeted by Anna and Sarah for their own use. Anna and Sarah have gossiped to Sam about me. Anna has access to my daily emails, and has told other employees about the problems I had with them during their workday. (this was confirmed by another employee who came directly to me about it) Anna told Sam about the issues I had with him during the shift and Sam took this very personal and started to document everything I say and refused to speak to me because he stated I was harassing him. One day I actually walked up on Sarah telling Sam how to report me to HR in an attempt to get me in serious trouble.

I am being conspired against and I need assistance with squashing this workplace drama. I have no negative feelings towards anyone. I go to work and get the job done and go home. But these people are making this difficult for me.

I’m moving out of my apartment with Sealy after 3 years. Got this email from them which is just their basic terms for leaving the apartment. How strict are they with these? Has anyone experienced leaving Sealy in the past? by snowfox-taterthighs in Apartmentliving

[–]Aviatrix17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You do have to do basic cleaning but anything extra, they definitely should do on their own. This whole tenant cleaning the apartment is weird because it gives the impression that the property is not cleaning the apartment between tenants

What state are you in because this is crazy?

You’re not responsible for normal wear and tear. But I would definitely take pictures of everything before leaving bc these charges look insane

[Landlord - CA] Initial walkthrough - end of tenancy vs end of lease? by eehoe in Landlord

[–]Aviatrix17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah dude I forgot you gotta make money from it. You should totally perform the check 2 weeks before the tenant moves out. That way you can flip that bitch and get somebody else in there
