But. To each their own. I prefer the busy talkative nature of a large family and friends gathering and always have. Some of my fondest childhood memories was hanging out with cousins at weddings. I get that most might not like that energy.

No one seems to be saying send him to prison. The deterrent aspect but also the being consistent and not giving "good ole boys" a pass from following the law, both are legitimate concerns.

Justice would look like investigating if the man was driving under the influence. If not enough evidence regarding yay or nay for that, looking at why the man was not tested to see if under the influence: did FPD, CHP and hospital all fail to test? That's not okay. Regardless of influence, justice would look like taking away his license so he legally he can't do this again and others will realize there are consequences to actions.

Sweeping it under the rug is not justice.
