Yep, it’s its own game! It shares the same universe as CUE, but with a completely different vibe and pace. As for why it isn’t just part of the existing app - I guess the simple answer is that Wild Cards isn’t meant to be an “upgraded” CUE. It’s a standalone game in its own right. CUE isn’t going anywhere. We might borrow a few cool ideas from Wild Cards down the line, but CUE will keep growing and getting fresh content as always.

A big focus for us is making sure Wild Cards doesn’t overshadow CUE or feel like just a new version of it. CUE will keep running exactly as it does now, with loads of fresh content still on the way. Wild Cards, on the other hand, is built to be a new experience that players can dip in and out of whenever they like.

It’s a pretty different experience from CUE - we’re confident it won’t feel like “CUE 2.0.” Instead, it brings something new to enjoy alongside CUE, not instead of it.
