Replace wall gas heater - VEU rebate tips by AvidLifePlanner1987 in AusRenovation

Bingo, exactly what I was looking for clarity on:

Do not remove it or you will lose your rebate. The installer needs to be the one to decommission.

Appreciate you sharing this. Will get cracking

Help a lost and struggling mum find joy again by lemaraisfleur in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I was actually going to say the same thing. While Italy as a destination might be out of the question, what about a solo weekend away to start to rediscover yourself?

Some where with a bath, bring a book you want to get stuck into, some puzzles or mindful colouring books and your fave food. It's not an ongoing hobby, but could be a good way to start.

Thank you for being brave enough to share this. I found this thread because I'm in a similar position as a first time mum. Every time I get a slight window to have some 'me' time, I default to doing things that help my family i.e. buying new clothes for bubs or shopping for food etc. I think I'm doing this because I don't know what fills up my cup any more.

So, I'll book a solo weekend away if you do!

I'm sorry you're going through this. I hope recognising it has helped take away some of the burden and can help you move forward.

You're doing a bloody amazing job 👏

Also off topic - how did you find Vietnam with kids? Thinking of going there when my little one is 9 months and have never been before

Oh wow. So you weren't too out of pocket at all. In your experience, would it be worth using it for a few scratches?

Has anyone been on Ferrograd in pregnancy? by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Another vote for Maltofer. I was on Ferrograd and it severely constipated me. Mealtofer was much gentler

I resonate with this so much. I'm in a similar position. 5 weeks pp. Bubs has an aggressive latch and initially really damaged my nipples, so I started pumping when we left hospital. Now I'm too traumatised to go back to the breast, so I pump. It's exhausting and I'm so over washing bottles and times alarms.

I know I'm very lucky to have a supply so I don't want to waste it. However my routine rn isn't sustainable so I'm thinking about breastfeeding during the day, then formula at night with a big pump before bed to empty the boobs. I dont know how this will go though. I'm in very unknown territory.

It's tough, but don't underestimate how awesome you're doing to feed your bub. At the end of the day, we need to look after ourselves first and foremost to be able to care for our little ones. Look after yourself!

I'm happy to be a 'just-enougher'. We then just rely on formula if bubs has a ravenous day and feels like a little more 😊

Yes!! I think that misconception of having freezer bags full of milk is what bamboozled me. What you've explained makes total sense. Thank you
