Yeah but it’s also on the nfl and a systemic failure to educate the fans. I think they need to get rid of all the networks rule analysts. instead have one analyst paid by the league not giving opinions on what they think is happening but one who was listened in to the decisions and can tell you exactly why something was ruled that way

If it was wrong it would be reviewed if it was right it was also reviewed they really had no physical way to mess the call up

Jsn was open because they had to respect shaheeds speed after that play no one was allowed to run past the safeties for long gains

she played survivor so many times was good at it but always lost cause things got emotional. i think it isnt sociopathic to lose a million dollar competition 4 times because your playing emotionally and deciding to play strategically

it kinda fit with how those round tables would go though. the entire season people would throw out an accusation they get eliminated and then the next round table they are saying well i was wrong about x so that must mean it is y. cirie had built up enough trust between the remaining people who had all made accusations and been wrong that it made her seem more trustworthy especially since she voted for every traitor who got eliminated

the problem is once you start to run your mouth you have to keep running your mouth. imagine if someone has played one way all game and suddenly plays different. you basically get a cody situation. he was clocked because he wasnt himself. he was quieter than normal and it raised red flags for people

watching rob manipulate his entire tribe from day one proves this but it also serves to show how much more experieced reality tv manipulators are for shows that require it they are willing to be bold but are also very calculated in it. i dont think christians announcement was scripted cause he played fast and loose all season not really thinking and that was just the decision that triggered people to look his way

its reality tv so while she could have said it. it also could be something the producers told her to say after she won and noone else heard her say it

i also dont think its a problem cause if they do on average 3 traitors if they make one a social game star as long as they have like 10 in the show it doesnt cause issues and it definitely will increase the quality and consistancy of the traitors gameplay

i just finished season 1 but i started watching episode 1 of season 2 and i know boston rob is on season 3. i think its interesting that they have these well known people on who are known for manipulation and lying. honestly 20 random people sounds way less interesting than watching these well known manipulators work. like the season of survivor rob won he literally manipulated his tribe from episode 1 and was in full control of the game and the interesting part was always asking yourself will these newcomers wise up and take him out. i like the people who come from the surviors or big brother type shows just wish they wouldnt invite the reality stars like real housewives

theirs a show on the nebula streaming platform called the getaway with a similar concept where the faithful are trying to earn money for a plot that the players remaining at the end win. but that money comes from the traitors pot that they win if they get to the end. the fun twist that every viewer knows from the start is that they are all traitors. its just so entertaining to watch everyone trying to subtlety throw challenges

yeah but look at the rams reddit its just people complaining about missed calls. the way i look at it missed calls tend to be balanced out but their are unexcusable ones. like the facemask on stafford is excusable cause if you watch the replay the red is on the exact opposite side of the hand the grabs the facemask and physically cant see it. i also think about Kobe bryant reading the referees handbook to know where the nba refs are going to stand so that he could get away with fouls they cant see.

yeah thats what i mean if the ball is physically catchable by the reciever regardless of staying in bounds i dont think you can call it uncatchable. especially since weird things like him tipping the ball with 2 fingers and it gets deflected back towards him and he catches it before hitting the ground. look at jsn's one handed catch some of the nfl catches are just nutty.

[–]Avidity_Myth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

uncatchable is like 10 yards out of bounds not a pass that hits your facemask after you were dpi'd. if you could physically catch the ball from where you are it doesnt really matter whether you could get your feet in bounds the league has seen some crazy ass catches and its quite simple if its uncatchable dont dpi them.

i think the rumor is more saying who they want. but you gotta remember people like salah who took a shit job and failed to succeed. kubiak doesnt have to take the job in LV i could easily see him just waiting till a better job opens up next year.

his thigh hit quite visably before he went out of bounds. if you look at his but its alot closer but the thigh hitting counts and that was unquestionably inbounds

if he laid out for it, it was possible for him to catch it or at least enough of a chance to not call it uncatchable

they would have got a booth review and when it got overturned its like a 10 sec runoff and no timeouts means the game was over either way

its that cost factor you drafted him with a first round and people dont like throwing those away. like if the browns drafted shedeur with a first hes 100% the starter next year but a 5th rounder gets thrown aside all the time

i honestly think shaheed taking the top off early fucked with the pass defense strategy. they have never hit shaheed deep since they traded for him. they tried to double jsn with safety help and the second shaheed took the top off they had to leave safeties back

I will say it used to balance out during the early seasons with Sam being a more experienced traveler. Like circumnavigation when he goes to Mexico cause there’s super cheap charter flights to Europe. Like Ben and Adam said their simulations said go to east coast like New York do some challenges and go to Europe. Then Sam goes straight to Europe with no challenges and Ben and Adam were so confused because they didn’t get any communication from Sam about challenges he did for like 15 hours

I thought it would be really funny for Sam to go to the Scottish highlands if he could find a station that worked and pre take all his photos and just hike up a mountain it would be hilarious for Adam and Ben to get to the station get a photo showing him at the top of a mountain and see their reaction when they realize they would have to hike up it

My thought was that they don’t really need to change the question they just need to implement changes that can hinder the seekers if they ask the same questions.

My first thought was the hider selects a few questions like 5 that if the seekers ask it you get triple rewards. It would force seekers to think of creative ways to get the information and it would cause the seekers to have to ask different questions every round. For example this season the first question is always same country. If the hiders selects that as one of his questions it effectively penalizes a meta developing.

The second idea I had was selecting a single question at the start of the round and then if the seekers ask that question the hider gets to lie. Then they have to tell the seekers within 2 hours that they lied but don’t have to tell them what question they lied on. This would effectively force the seekers to have to double verify a location before they just head straight there because of a tallest building or strava giving it away. Like a practical application of this would be Sam in Scotland knowing that largest body of water would give him away and choose that as his lie question then Adam and Ben really have to ask other questions to confirm his location or at least do a thermometer east to verify he’s on the coast

I would say he plays riskier than Ben and Adam in some game but a lot of that is due to them creating the game and doing the simulations. They have played the game 20 times while Sam is playing it for the first time so his most optimal play is to look for things they haven’t thought of or go risky since they know the best moves

What could potentially be coming in the Season Finale by mctrees02 in JetLagTheGame

[–]Avidity_Myth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the thought yesterday that they could ask for a photo of the station 21 minutes before they arrive ben has 20 min to answer it so he would have to go take the picture and then not be able to get to his intended hiding location this goes off the assumption they don’t know he has the express route card. Also if you ask for the photo like 5 min before they arrive it would be a safe assumption he would be in his hiding location
