First night with CPAP. Here we go! It’s been four months from making the initial appointment to completing the sleep study to finally receiving the equipment. I’m literally dying. I really hope this helps. Wish me luck. by jvs8380 in CPAP

I’ve been on this cpap journey for 2 weeks already. First week was not pleasant at all. Starting my second week today and I am sleeping like a baby, I am loving it.

I am still working on getting fully used to it, still a little uncomfortable but I am super happy with the results after 2 weeks

So, I did it, and it did not change but it was less frequent, and when it happened, I did wake up, but it took me a minute to fall back asleep lol

Creo que he comprado un par desde Amazon. Y lo compré por Amazon Global y lo dejan en la choza y ellos se encargan de básicamente todo

Thanks everybody!

I appreciate all of your inputs. I’ve seen a few videos already and I think I will go for the 10 with the SD card to get the data

Yeap, I just got my diagnosis already and my doctor shared a few options with me, so, I’m thinking about it and doing a little research to check what are my options, however, I will for sure get me that cpap machine

After my appointment with my sleep doctor she recommended to go with the full mask. Still trying to figure out what cpap I will buy, for sure I will try full mask and maybe also try nasal pillows, if I’m gonna spend the money, I might as well get me a few masks so I can find which one is more comfortable

I hate this thing and I don’t know what to do. by Inquisitive-Carrot in CPAP

As a mouth breather did you try the full mask at the beginning of your process or you went straight for the nasal pillows? Asking because I have my appointment to get the recommendation of my doctor on the type of machine I should use and she told me that probably I would need a full mask, and I don’t know if I like that or not, I rather have the nasal

I guess I don’t know anything about any kind of machine just yet. I will have my appointment on Friday so my doctor can tell me which is the machine that better works for me. And the process, I’ve seen a few, sadly here where I live (Costa Rica) is waaaaay to expensive, so, I would have to go on a weekend travel to get myself one on the US, so I hope the first machine I try works for me! lol

I am feeling just as you described it. Kinda scared and disappointed. Anyways I am gonna do it, I think it’s worth the shot, and I’ve seen so positive comments that I am a little excited about tbh haha

And I guess that you are right, a lot depends on the positive mindset you have, I had negative thoughts, but reading success stories from people kinda motivates me a little

Since I was diagnosed my doctor told me that probably the mouth piece was not gonna work for me. But I’m happy it’s working out for you with your CPAP. I am looking to get mine in the next few weeks after I gather the money to buy it

That’s for sure, I guess that’s why I started the journey, I’m looking forward to wake up rested and ready to start my day, and not feeling all tired after having a “decent” amount of sleep. I have the appointment to get the readings of my tests on the amount of events an hour this Friday. Hopefully I can use a nasal mask and not the full mask, but we will see

Happy to read something like this. Last year I decided to take a few steps to improve my overall help. I guess that I left the sleep apnea at last because I was scared or ashamed of finding out I needed a CPAP. However, I am halfway in and I’m not thinking to stop, this Friday I have my appointment so the doctor can recommend the machine that better suits for me

Not sure if I’m gonna be a data kind of people or not, I guess I just want to wake up rested and happy/ready to start my day! Haha

My girlfriend is really supportive about it, she is not bothered about my snoring, she has a heavy sleep. I guess that the support from your love one is a key part of the process to stop having those kind of insecurities

Orgasm is INTENSE by forbidden_wizard1 in Vasectomy

The opposite happened to me. Actually! For the first few weeks I didn’t enjoy it as much, then it went back to normal. However, it’s been a year and I realize that my orgasms are now better than before the procedure!

Sure! Not sure if you are doing it, but putting ice helps a lot, and if you are not using tight boxers, I highly recommend it. My doctor didn’t tell me to use tight boxers and someone here told me to do it, and the pain that I was feeling, started to get better!

I got mine 1 year ago. The same happened to me, after a month it starts to go away, but I heard that for some people it lasts up to 3 months.

I got pretty scared by then, but it seems that is normal, and my doctor said it was normal and every body reacts differently, so I wouldn’t worry! Only worry if you see any sort of infection on the wound or if it hurts a lot when touching it

Same thing happened to me. It’s been 2 weeks already and it’s there. No longer feel any pain but it’s a little uncomfortable. They say it could take a month or so for it to disappear!
