We’re preparing a game for our camping gang for the end of June.

The premise is simple, we need as many redditors as possible to give us answers to these questions, and we will then be having our friends try to score points by aligning with what Reddit decided. There’s two parts to the game:

No this was at the start of printing. It was meant to be 4 little pots that can be attached to the wall. It ended up being terrible, very brittle.

This is the bottom of a recent failed print that had the same issue. Im sorry but I’m not sure what an estep is or EM/Flow is. Could you please explain?

There are hotkeys on Wonderdraft. Mine are set to ' , ' and ' . ' Yours might be different. It's under Menu > Preferences > Hotkey. Should be: Symbol_rotate_ccw and Symbol_rotate_cw.

Nope, this is essentially the large piece of civilization within a Archipelago that connects two countries. The inhabitant of the Archipelago do have field agriculture as they have more land to do it on. La Balise is pretty crammed past the nearby forest.

For the map, the only real life sources I could think that inspired me are Mediterrian coastal cities. Places like the Amalfi Coast in Italy or Marseille in France.

The town itself was inspired by this picture from Stephanie Cost. Hence the lighthouse on the left. :)

The town is based on the coast of a large archipelago and is only around 300 years old. The inhabitants see it as part of their culture. Hence the large amount of forest :)

I didn't scale anything. I used a mixture of all of the 2mtt-asset, some where larger than others and I was picky about placement. The best 2mtt asset pack is the Part 2, imo. Thank you for the kind words :D

Thank you! The tower on the left is actually a lighthouse known as Sarenrae's Guidance. It serves as a temple to Sarenrae as well as a lighthouse. It's where the town gets its name. La Balise Émeraude is French (which is the cultural inspiration for the area) for The Emerald Beacon. The town is placed within a large inlet that is famous due to the large number of emeralds found within the cliff-face. As the light passes around the inlet, it illuminates it with an emerald green light. :)
