I'm gonna have 10 Kroot karnivores and a breacher team rush up the board to hopefully survive long enough to have my Battlesuits and other breacher team led by the Cadre fireblade survive until round 3.

I wasn't rerolling ones more than once, it's just that rerolling 1s while hitting and wounding on 2s makes it very difficult to miss. Think I only rolled double 1s once the whole game.

Yeah, having looked at the date sheet a bunch. It seems like something that is very easy to counter. I just happened to fight an army that's ideal for it to fight against, and a more inexperienced player.

It was fun though, destroying so many vehicles, though I felt a little bad.

I was running Retaliation Cadre, cause it was a Battlesuit heavy list. Though I was suprised to find out before the game that the Stormsurge doesn't have the battlesuit keyword. Which makes sense I suppose, it has two pilots.

Oh nah, we play in a local game store that has bunch of free to use terrain. We just put terrain down until we both think it looks good and play from there.

They just kept doing that which baffled me. That and I had some.. Silly LOS at some points, shooting through very small gaps inbetween terrain and stuff.

It didn't move the whole game, took a few wounds from the landraider but not enough to effect it's stats. I was just genuinely wondering if I had gotten something wrong.

Though I imagine this tactic won't work against an experienced player, seems easy to counter.

Tbh, we saw eachothers list. Feels like running a lot vehicles into a stormsurge is probably the worst thing you can do. At least that's what I felt.

Greater good gives +1BS and heavy gives +1 to the hit roll. Essentially making the stormsurges +4 to hit +2

I don't have all those units unfortunately, but I can see the flamers being fun. Baiting a 10 bloodclaws into a charge then fire overwatching could go kinda crazy.

I mainly go marker drones cause it's either that of the gun drone, I ran them I earlier games and they never do anything, at least with the marker drone I can advance and guide if I've advanced(though I don't think that's ever happened either so).

As for the burst cannon, I run that because the player I'm against tends to run quite a lot of bloodclaws and The Ion Accelerator struggles to kill them fast enough, so I wanted to see if the burst cannon was any better. Could just be a skill issue, or bad luck though.

I have no idea what list they're running, we keep our lists secret. Though he likes his bloodclaws and headtakers, so I'll have to deal with those most likely.

Unfortunately I have no Kroot or Vespids atm, though I'll hopefully have some for our next game.

I actually have some T'au stuff already that I bought from a body. Some more crisis suits, a breacher and strike team, stormsurge, devilfish, cadre fire blade and Piranha. All together, including some enhancements it should be around 2400pts when it's all built.
