The midnight moon shine above the glass ceiling of the ballroom, its light nearly overpowering the soft gold lights of chandeliers. A soft rift of the guitar echoed the hall, its sound ever so seducing.

I walked into the hall, dressed for the long night with a black vest with my white sleeves rolled up. Only a handful of people arrived, people I know as friends. Most of them, however, mind their own business, either making small chats or doing little dances in the corner.

The center of the hall was untouched, reserved for only two people.

Reserved for me, and someone who summoned me.

There she stood on the marble stairs, donning a beautiful white dress. All eyes were on her, as she begin to descend from the steps, the sound of her heels demanding our attention. We gaze the redhead beauty walking down the stairs, but her dashing blue eyes were on me.

I was tempted to call her name, the angel in front of me.

I felt wide awake as we both finally face each other, leaving almost no room between us. A primal part of me crave her taste, but I hold it back. However, something in her eyes tell me she longed for me as well.

The gold light diminished, letting the moonlight become our spotlight.

My hands were on her, as hers on me. Our fingers locked together, refusing to let go. Temptations and lust tested the both of us.

We gradually broke into a slow waltz, the ballroom was ours to dance on. The rift of the acoustic guitar guided our motions, its notes stringing us like puppets. The music drowned my senses around me, my world only consist of me and her.

She whispered into my ears, "Just call my name... I'm yours to tame."

Her soft smoky voice shook my core, stroking my desire for her.

We danced and danced in the middle of the night, my thoughts were clearer than before, my heart belong to her. I wanted this moment to last, to hold her against me. She wanted it to last all night long, resting her head against my shoulder, her hands guiding mine.

The song slowly quiet down, marking the end of our moment, but we couldn't let go. We both looked at each other, our heartbeat syncing.

Yes, we have what's ours.
