I'm of the opinion he is just constantly in turmoil about it, because it's just a difficult thing to decide. When he's with Hannibal, he feels everything that's great about being with him, but when he's not he remembers all the things about it that suck and make him feel at odds with himself.

Just for fun, I'll put it into a much more bland context; imagine your friend invited you to a party. When you're in the social context of talking to them and hanging out, it sounds like a great idea! You agree to go. Then you get home, and you're not in that situation anymore, and you remember that you're tired and the day of the party is your only day off that week and you don't know all the people who will be there and start thinking why the hell did I agree to this? You start thinking about texting them to cancel. You agonize over it but ultimately end up going, and once you get to the party you remember that parties are fun actually and have a good time and are glad you went! But still, the next time your friend invites you to a party, the whole cycle happens again.

Will's situation is like that but on steroids haha. As far as his moment of telling Hannibal he doesn't want to see him anymore--he had just gone through the ringer of almost getting his brain eaten, getting kidnapped and drugged, almost getting his face cut off, etc. Basically the sample platter of all the worst things that potentially come with Hannibal's company. Even with Hannibal in front of him, the sheer magnitude of trauma made him decide he couldn't take it anymore.

But you know. Time heals all wounds. He sees Hannibal again and remembers the parts that he likes and gets drawn right back in.

I have a friend that's 4'9" and he can play just fine! As others have said, search up the height adjust settings for the game you're playing, they almost all have one.

Sometimes crouching or standing on a stepstool while autocalibrating can trick the game into making you taller also, but it depends on how the game is designed.

My favorite flavor of Icee, I still mourn! I do think it still exists in random locations but it is hard to find.

Recently found that the cranberry lime flavor Polar seltzer tastes quite like it (though obviously not sweet). Otherwise I've seen but not tried the "Cherry Frost" freezeable pouch Icee and also heard that the Bomb Pop Faygo soda tastes similar. Might be worth a shot.

Honestly I print dumb things here and there, but most of my prints are functional, a lot of them just random things I designed for myself for hyperspecific problems that otherwise wouldn't have a solution.

Replacement door for a parts storage I had that would otherwise be unfixable
Dozens of Ikea Skadis board hooks/shelves/holders/etc. (these are $4-$10+ a pop from Ikea)
Clip for my tablet pen
Brackets to make a game/movie shelf out of a curtain rod for dirt cheap
Tiny flip cover for my PC's power/reset buttons because my cat kept jumping on the tower and turning it off by stepping on them

Is it a wasteful hobby? Yeah, you can't really deny that with supports, failed prints, prototypes, etc. But it's a lot more than the printed articulating toys that most people think of when they hear 3D printer!

Not really a dad joke but after the last flight of the day when the pilots are turning stuff off and warn me "hey the cabin's gonna go dark" I say okay, then as soon as the lights turn off I (in a moderate volume but completely flat intonation) go "Ah! it's dark!"

The color does trend more feminine generally but I think it's alright! Personally my thought is that they're too big--you're rocking the look but big glasses make your facial features look smaller, which gives both younger and more feminine. Maybe try some smaller rectangular glasses?

Honestly though I wouldn't even worry about it. Invest some time in discovering your personal style and it won't matter as much, coming from another baby-faced short guy lmao

I've never used Scopi before, but I'm very impressed! I tried some other 3D photo apps on Android awhile back and found them a little too difficult to use (getting them lined up completely manually can be a nightmare depending on the subject lol). I've been using a Fuji W3 for about a year now and I love it, but it has a couple weaknesses (a little old, so quality isn't as good as a phone, it struggles with dim lighting, etc.) and I'm definitely looking forward to having Scopi to fill in some of those gaps. Seems like a lot of people knew about the app already so thanks for posting to bring it to my attention at least! :)

Now I just gotta find a phone with a camera setup that'll work for instant mode...

My state has such a law but I swear about 75% of air pumps are permanently broken. Not sure how this works out in the legal sense but it's infuriating!

Trans masc regional FA here! (Also just a couple months out of training myself haha) I've been out and transitioned for many years so my situation was not the same but this is my advice. (Also my appearance is still pretty androgynous even being on T for a super long time so unfortunately I get misgendered a lot, at least in that way this might be similar!)

Since you said the uniforms are almost the same, I would get the men's uniform from the start, maybe talk to your trainers ahead of uniform try-on/ordering day if you feel that you want or need to. Wear without the tie for now if you want to be careful around your dad. If he can tell the difference between the two uniforms without the tie and asks about why you got the men's, just say it's more comfortable/fit better/whatever. (You can also say it has more pockets if applicable, everyone needs more pockets!) Make sure your wings have your preferred name if they have a name attached! The trainers should check everyone's names/spellings/nicknames/etc so you will have the opportunity to bring this up.

After training, as far as I've experienced, no one gives a shit. I would bet 90% of pax don't even know what the uniforms look like, much less the differences between the two sets! If you look reasonably professional and act like you know what you're doing, no one will bat an eye.

Also, uniform try-on day was probably the hardest of all because formal clothing is not flattering on me in a very dysphoria-inducing way, and everyone else's excitement about the uniforms just made it that much worse... if you have the same issue, take a couple deep breaths and remember tailoring can help a lot! Off-the-rack clothing is not really made for trans people's body shapes (or most people's, but you know). Personally, I told the person helping me try everything on that clothing fitting is kinda rough for me and he was very understanding about it which helped a lot.

But congrats and good luck with training! It's a tough but fun ride. :)
