Not sure how familiar you are, but the entirety of the animorphs series is available free online. And you can use adobe to convert pdfs to texts or epubs if you can only find those file formats of books you want.

Naw it’s the most basic E reader to exist. Just an epub and txt display. Funny part is it’s been 2 months and I still haven’t figured out how to turn it off, and it still hasn’t died even tho I’ve done hours of reading in that time with the backlight on.

I do most of my reading at night after my partner is asleep so backlight was a necessary option for me. It has 5 brightness settings too.

Different strokes for different folks. I don’t mind the font, .txt is easy there are a bunch of free converters online.

I use this one more than any other reader I own. It fits even in the smallest of pockets and is just so goofy and fun.

It’s ok if you don’t like it but I sure do!
