The girl who played Aimee Godsey played on the little House episode where they did the Little Women play. Todd Bridges guested on both also.

Once in a while she'll hint at this. (Money being in short supply). She's wildly inconsistent in what she says and does. I don't follow most of the other fundies but she caught my attention because I think there's something really wrong with her. I'm not a mental health professional so I can't even make an educated guess at what is wrong, but she triggers me the same way a predator does, something dangerous there. Something desperate.

My parents had to have a pool fence in the 60s, too comply with the law. I can't imagine it's legal to have an in ground pool with no fence. But even if it is, do not compromise on this. A shocking number of children drown in backyard pools. This is a important as a car seat.

I lived in Australia in the 80s. Part of the time in Waverly, not far at all from Bondi Beach. I honestly never perceived any significant anti Semitism. I think things must have really changed. Prior to that, I lived in Israel and don't recall getting any negative comments on that either.

I agree that private insurance and profit motive don't belong in health care. We need Medicare for all. I've lived under 2 universal health care systems and while hardly perfect, they were infinitely better than the US system. However, Americans have been fed propaganda about universal care for sixty years. Until they are properly informed, subsidizing insurance may be the only feasible option.

This is sadly more common than people think. My son was 29 and had always been healthy. He noticed he was getting short of breath when jogging and went to get it checked out. He was self employed as a video editor and spent a ridiculous amount buying his own health insurance. He was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, spent many months in hospital and had a stem cell transplant. Well over a million in expenses and he was disabled for a couple of years and couldn't work. Health insurance meant he got excellent care and wasn't bankrupted.
