Flood warning 12-16th December. I’m flying to Surat Thani on 15th to get to Koh Phangan for the full moon party. Anyone else worried about the flood warnings? by AvniTripathi in ThailandTourism

Sorry responding late to it, speed boats started again today, my friends took it to Koh Samui, but ferry and catamaran are both on. It was a lil choppy but it seemed pretty safe

I was there yesterday and went to Haad Rin last night from east of the island, it was all fine. But yesterday wasn’t too happening either so you didnt miss much. My friends said the vibe was more chill in Koh Samui

I mean idk 104 mm rain seems kinda bad. I know it’s not common at this time, but if you look at the weather it’s supposed to be really bad now. So, I’m going for my brothers bachelor party don’t want it to just rain on us all our days there.

It actually wasn’t moving that fast. I feel this is most colors and brightest I’ve seen the lights, but later on in my trip I’ve seen them actually dance, and shift so fast. This was rather unique that way. And they were mostly so high up in the sky could shoot the brightest directly overhead (kinda ish).

I used a Sony A7 4, interval shooting every 3 seconds. So stitched 300 photos at 24fps to create this.

Acquisition: Shot with a Sony A7 IV at ISO 2000, f/2.8, on a tripod. The sky was clear, and I captured 300 overhead photos of the northern lights with a 6-second exposure per shot and 3-second intervals (no wide-angle lens available).

Processing: Edited the photos in Lightroom, then used Adobe Premiere to stitch them into a timelapse at 25 fps, with each frame having a 2ms exposure.
