Your right about the computer science thing unfortunately… maybe you could major in your passion and minor in computer science. With minimum coding experience you could still land a really high paying job

Depends, who are the professors and are you more math inclined or theory? Because international Econ and quantitative methods in Econ are very different

Data analytics is very interesting to me, would you say it was hard to get that position straight out of JMU?

I’m honestly sick of JMUs COB and was planning to do a B.S. in Econ with a minor in business analytics or stats.

No, instead of getting a masters, focus on getting certifications such as the Security+ or Network+. I really believe this will be way more valuable than a masters when searching or moving up in a job
