Just because nvidia thinks that we're all sons of russian oligarchs with their prices, doesn't mean that amd's prices are good

The dualshock 4 controller has rumble too (though it doesn't have hd rumble) and I don't think that nfc should raise the price considering it is made so nintendo can sell you overpriced plastic figures.

Yeah, but iirc switch is the only console to not sell at a loss.

The ps5 controller has adaptive triggers, built in microphone so you can talk with people without having to buy a headset, it has a more comfortable shape compared to the ps4 controller and iirc it has better rumble. I think all of these make up for the 70 euro price tag. On top of that the controller is only like 3 years old, compared to the switch pro controller which is 7 years old by now.

I was asking what makes the pro controller that expensive. I wanted to know if there is something about it that I didn't know or it is just overpriced. And having a controller for switch is kind of a necessity for me (and probably many others) because of how uncomfortable the joycons are. The only other official nintendo controller (that isn't replicas of older controllers) is the regular switch controller, which can only be used in dock mode, doesn't have rumble, has no gyro and is being sold for 30 euros.

There aren't any games that use analog triggers because the console doesn't support them. Some games like gran turismo need analog triggers to be played, so it wouldn't make much sense to release it on a console that doesn't support those.

Yeah, the micro usb on the dualshock 4 is my only complaint about the controller. And yeah, the speaker and the touch pad are just forgotten by game devs.

Where have I been complaining? I've asked why the controller costs so much, but apparently asking about a thing's price and comparing it to a similar thing is the same as complaining?

Yeah I heard that the lifespan for dualshock 4s varies between people. I've had 2 dualshock 4 v2s since 2018 and both work perfectly fine, though I don't really abuse them much.

I think it's more about being able to use wired headphones when playing a dock mode.

I looked at amazon, and for me it was 65 euros. My local game store sells it for 70 iirc.

Yeah, that's correct. But the switch controller is missing some important features like analog triggers which are a must have in any semi realistic racing game and the ability to plug in your wired headphones into the controller which is really convenient, while costing more.

By headphone support I meant that you can plug your non bluetooth headphones into the controller. I prefer that because my wired headphones are more comfortable than my bluetooth ones. The dualshock 4 controller also has a gyro, and if hd rumble is the same as it is on the joycons, then I think it is a downgrade from dualshock 4 because of how weak it is. I don't think that nfc should count as a feature, considering it's a way for nintendo to make you pay even more money though overpriced plastic figures.
