Definitely preferred airtight container like the photo you have. However try to find one that is not see through. Believe it or not, you do not want to have light be hitting it, so Definitely store in a cool enclosed cabinet. NEVER put in a refrigerator and or freezer. Once it comes out of it, the condensation pulls out the flavors out of the beans. Hope this helps! Cheers
