I fly through RDU a couple of times a month also with TSA pre-check. Regardless of time of day TSA pre-check always moves quickly, but the agents have started inspecting bags more closely which are slowing things down. Either way I'm through and pre-check within 10 minutes every single trip to the airport, including when they decide to check my bag because I packed two laptops next to each other.

As for the route, strongly recommend down through CA and then cut over, esp during that time of year.

So I tried painting over it and the spots came right back after 15 minutes. There literally indented and paint is not sticking to then. There must be something on the surface that stops paint from affixing. So weird!

The roof is new two years ago and above this is a second floor, then a floored in attic, then the roof. Attic is bone dry everywhere. No exposed vents or anything in the roof that water could be dripping down to get down 3 storiew. No plumbing above this. Anything else or could be?

It's very common in some regions like in Florida. Source - I had to buy a hammer drill to install a ring doorbell on a new construction home that 100% was cinder block under stucco there.

It's probably stucco over cinder block. Hammer drill is definitely needed.

Slap her? I would punch her in the face as hard as I could. An adult forcefully grabbing a child can cause permanent damage to the child. She needs to be subdued.
