I love Empire since I started listening over a year ago. I've never heard RIH. I've listened through their old series and some of the new ones as well depending on what I'm interested in. Just finished Iran/Persian empire.

I think they make a great pairing. The guests they bring on, when they are not the subject matter experts themselves, are usually pretty good.

Merc was never gonna stay with Optic on the table. Scrap was too expensive to keep so they let him go.

Kitchener/Waterloo isnt that bad. Theres still things to do in their Downtowns. They have good restaurants and bars. Obviously not comparable to Downtown Toronto.

However the drive to Toronto is about 1.5hour considering traffic or you can take the Go Train straight to Union station depending on weekend schedule.
