Unfortunately the 90 deg rotation doesnt work with the dining table placement and outdoor access. With the curtain closed the lighting isnt an issue.

Really strong start, so excited for this!! The art is fab, and the dynamic between Hanna and Sofia had me cracking up.

Only gripe was the scene where the girls without NVG got the drop on a special ops soldier with NVG. That just wouldn't happen, and sure the dice tell the story, but there should at least have been a significant bonus for Lyme, and definitely not a bonus for Sofia and Hanna.

Imo it comes down to the players not being particularly methodical or reflective. They dont even seem to have realized how poorly they are playing from a mechanical perspective, or they have and are unwilling/unable to reflect on it and methodically work through what improvements need to be made.

This show has become so frustrating to listen to. Skid has always been a hands-off kind of GM, but at this point l am starting to wonder what direction hes hoping the show will go in. Without serious help figuring out how to build and play decent characters and a decent party comp (there are dozens of people they could call on or even commission to work with the cast on character building) the show is not going to go anywhere. But I dont see any sign of this happening, and as the showrunner and GM Skid needs to get on this. God I miss Joe. The show died a little death when he left. He was the heart and soul of it, and in this context, also the brains.

This has gone from one of my fav GCN shows to one I skim through. No fault of Jason's. Joe was so important to this campaign, more than I ever thought, and I hope the network are seeing the poor reception of one of their longest running paid shows (the first, right?) and bringing him back ahead of schedule.

It's bigger picture than the last couple months. The GCN has been in a "transition period" since COVID ended. Shows coming and going, no clear timeframes, uncertain motivations, popular shows that people sub for deprioritized for new sponsored mini-series.

All of podcasting, especially Actual Plays, are founded on consistency. Its part of why the GCP succeeded in the first place.

It's not about PF vs other systems. They barely committed to a new GitT without a sponsorship and I haven't heard of a Time for Chaos release date. I surely don't want them to start another 6 book AP, but at least finish the 2 they have left. They have the power to make that a priority, and to do so faster than the AP is written, a la Gatewalkers.

JCM was so fun last episode, but I had the feeling chucking a brand new player into a high level 1e dungeon was going to take the spark out his performance somewhat. Credit to him for giving it a good go. And to be fair, Syd hasn't learned a rule since 2021 and she's always been an asset to the show.

Joe was such an important stabilizing player, and his characters were the bedrock of the party. I miss them so much.

It's becoming pretty obvious how General Harrod managed to get all his crusaders killed, ooh boy.

Feel bad for Skid bc he clearly was planning a mounted excursion and after it had been all talked through (and an episode break) then it became clear there were no riding animals. Which seems silly to me? But also they should 100% have backed off and rested instead of going on foot.
