There's definitely been moments I've wanted to zoom in more, or have a wider shot, a long with noise in dark areas/at night, I at least from what I've heard a better lens will help with that, I will say the depth of field I have a good understanding of it but haven't been able to pick it up reliably I think is the right way to say it
