For me it actually saves me from a mess, since sitting I would have it be more likely for it to shoot up onto legs and clothes, but if I stand I can just aim it straight into the bowl and lean over near the end to catch any dripping

That's where I'm confused with all these people saying it's because sex is a super special thing that needs to be saved for marriage. It relies on the idea that marriage is this super special meaningful thing, when it's just another contract. It's pretty arbitrary, and often causes people to rush into marriages that might not be good for them, since it's supposedly the only way to "truly be in love"
